Frequently asked questions
For coats that tangle, yes. Shampoo cleans but lifts the coat cuticle; conditioner smooths it back down, which is what stops post-wash knots. A one-step product splits the difference and does neither job fully. Short low-maintenance coats can often get away with shampoo alone.
Best not to. Dog skin sits at a different pH to ours, so human products tend to strip the coat's natural oils and leave skin dry or itchy. Dog-specific formulas like this set are balanced for canine skin.
Wet the coat, wash with No Knots Shampoo and rinse well. Then work the conditioner through, leave it for two minutes, and rinse lightly. Brushing after a No Knots wash is noticeably easier.
Both bottles are 500ml. For a medium dog washed every few weeks, expect the set to last several months. Bigger or muddier dogs get through it faster.
Knot-prone coats: doodles, long and double coats, and any dog whose brush sessions end in negotiations. Short coats can use it too, they just need it less.
